Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying bloom everywhere without turning on r.SimpleDynamicLighting? Mostly coming from the overhead sun on each map.

Yes, it doesn't seem to affect the bloom for me at all.

Anyone know a setting to change the zoom FOV?

My custom.cfg with minor performance enhancement, overall less bloom and removed distracting foliage.

Using Notepad, save the following as 'custom.cfg' in:
    [STEAMFOLDER]\Steam\steamapps\common\Midair\Midair\Binaries\custom.cfg

Do not save as a txt file, instead click on the dropdown and save as 'All Files'.
    Code:
    ; General
    FOV 120
    r.VSync 0
    r.SetRes 1920x1080f
    r.OneFrameThreadLag 1
    r.ScreenPercentage 120

    ; Toggles
    stat fps

    ; Effects Quality

On game load, open the console with the `grave` key to the left of the '1' key, and type 'exec custom.cfg'. On subsequent loads you can also just press the up arrow to get the same command from history. Hit enter.

To raise the FPS cap imposed by the engine, save the following in:
    [STEAMFOLDER]\Steam\steamapps\common\Midair\Midair\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini
    Code:
    [/Script/Midair.MAGameEngine]
    FrameRateCap=144

I keep this post updated with the latest settings and console commands you may find useful.

Nice find. Why can't I hold all these FPS ? disappointingly I only get 150-170fps. Time for a new video card ?

Haven't found the individual settings yet, but to disable Sunset Cove's annoying sun bloom/lensflare type in sg.PostProcessQuality 1 into the console or see my post above.

I have mine set to 400 as a quick test shows I was getting 320-330 fps is there any reason that your FPS is set to exactly 144

I wouldn't generally recommend uncapping the FPS that much because of how unstable the framerate on UE4 can be. I used 144 as an example because of how common place 144hz monitors are becoming.

Do you think the next patch and the upgrade to UE 4.14 will have any affect on that instability.

No. And uncapping your fps like that will likely not do you any good. I'd recommend sticking to whatever the refresh rate of your monitor is.

I am not sure how UE4 behaves internally, but lets say my monitor is 60hz, capping Midair to 60 frames per second is probably a bad idea because of increased input lag. If you have a high refresh rate monitor though, this matters less.

Even though my refresh rate is 60hz that is like 1/6th of my acheavable FPS

So I need a monitior with 300hz may have to wait a while

Has that custom config changed as the one I have ATM is not the same as this and I could have sworn I copied this one?
